busy_gal86 i have been!! ayyyyy.. was ill illl illlllllll the past 2-3 wks.. actually more or less still ongoing.. grrrr! illnesses were obviously aggravated by the 2 major mid term tests that i had... namely history and social psych of new media.. both onta same day one right after the other! oh my.. inta end i didnt even have time to sleep!!! :/ yes yes i know.. stop last minuting!! but i cant help it!! even if u gimme 3 wks for the tests i will just slack till the last few days. what a loser. i need to revamp my blog! i spent like 7hrs doing up a very nice combined blog for my loves which totally outshines my own.. how loser is that.. its time for a change =) shumz and i had a photo taking mania in her room a few days back! whahahah took sooooooooooooooooo many stooooopidddd pics.. hopefully it doesnt get exposed. ahhaha! she and i really do the stupidest things la.. what wld i do wout her in hall with me.. it ink she is my hall bestie la! (: LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE! the most happening thing that happened to me the past few wks was CHAR AND CHERI'S BIRTHDAY AND THE EVENT AFTER DP where i won free stuff but shant elaborate on cz it was so embarrassing.. i am so not beatboxer material -.- anyways.. ser and i spent like a whopping $150 on both their presents ccombined!! it was CRAZYYYYYY!! we bought em like huge embarrassing balloons (which i nearly died of embarrassment holding initially b4 we passed it to em.. the stupid thing kept hitting my face and continued doing so even after i passed it on -.-) we personalized the balloons and bought them chocolate cupcakes from the ehh.. shit what is called.. the chocolate factory or cupcake factory or sth.. ayyyyyy the new one near smu with long lines of queues. ahhaha.. and we bought em 3 items each!! (: superrr dupeeeeeeeer! glad they both loved it! ahha especially cheri la.. she was like WOWWWWWWW..... WOWWWWWW.... WOWWWWWWWW! AHHAHA (: it was all worth it! we bought char 2 mango tops, 2 pairs of (cross) earrings and a cute car display thing AND we bought cheri a damn super nice big nike waterbottle (that i want so bad) and a super chio puma clutch and a nice nike white cap! AHHHHHHH . half the time when ser and i were shopping for the presents we were like eyeing our own stuff and some of their chosen items with longing and/or jealously.. sigh. we had a lovely meal of sakae sushi which char treated (3 cheers for sashimiiiiiii!) and proceeded to karaoke at my moms club!!! even tho we only had 1 hr left to sing... it was worth it.. ser and i already had impromptu 'plans' all figured out.. when we arrived ata club.. the stupid guy in charge kept saying u guys only have 1 hr left to sing and u sure u want to etc etc.. he niaoed on and on for like 10 whole min.. before he helped us set up. grr. then when we went in.. ser and i made a huge fuss about all of us needing to pee. so i said ' hey u know what why dont u guys go pee first while i set up the karaoke system here' then char was like 'okay' then char helped our situation by saying 'u dont want to go meh?' then serene came in perfectly and said 'or i stay with you (me) and help u set up you two (char n cheri) go first?' PERFECT.. so immed when the two of em went out the door.. ser and i made a MADDDD DASHHHH to set up the whole celebration!!! we arrange the presents... set up the cupCAKES.. light the candles.. find the lighter.. switch on the karaoke system and find an appropriate happy birthday song (there were abt 3) test them check sound system.. play with the lights... and omg.. we basically went crazy!!! ahhaa. nv felt so stressed before. then just when i was testing the song cheri and char came back in. serene immed picked up the mike handed one to me and started singing... HAPPYYYYYY... then i immed pressed back and replayed the stupid happy birthday song.. which had a super long intro... so we just stood there like fools stuck on our 'haaaaaapppppppppyyyyyyyyy' for damn long!! before we finally maanged to get in sync with the stupid song on the big screen tv.. char and cheri were SHOCKED SPEECHLESSS! hahahah yayyyyyy! they totally didnt expect it at all. they thought the balloons were the end of the presents! ahah. the funniest part was (besides ser and my singing admist burstfuls of giggles) the lyrics of the song that went on and on forever... 'may god be with you' ..... 'happy birthday my dearest... ' and all sorts of odd lyrics that dont fit the moment.. haahha. i bet none of u alll have actually heard the full birthday song before. we were all on a momentary high! it was awesome (: ser and i were so stressed and last min the whole aftnn.. shopping for presents.. searching for candles and lighter while we were already with the two of em.. and hiding the fact that we were holding a surprise celebration.. secret conv's abt the surprise or things we have yet to get in fronta the two.. the many many impromptu lies we had to tell in order to surprise em clueless! OH MYYYYYYYY. it wasn't easy i tell u! hahaha. but it was a fantastic day with the trio.

kang is seriuosly the funniest.. nv fails to make me laugh. i was telling her abt all the lessons i learnt and stuff.. and she actually said.. 'totally lessons learnt write down in a powerpoint slide and show me ah!' omg it was sooooooo damn funny la! i immed changed my msn nick to that.. haha! damn off. then kang and i were sorta like responding to each others statements via our msn nicks until yunx nudged me on my msn and asked if kang n i were mad! ahhaha (: love that piece of crappish kang. ahhhh.. still tired from zouk last night.. FIRST TIME PLANNED CLUBBING WITH PING AND MEILIN! (: (ping FINALLY we did it).. the usual gang came along... shumz pam tav ali xp and otheres like tze yeong bryan ji ting (who was really really funny btw.. he is like the untypically cute hilarious drunk kind..) and his friends. a night of fun and drunkardness!! (not me tho of course) (: good songs good time (: ayyyyy okay back to doing my readings for tmrs meeting for next wks presentation! eeeks! :/

HAPPY EARLY 21ST SHUMSSYYY BABBEEEE!!! ( or shd i say ba be bo as according to james) hahaha! i enjoyed ur party lots! (: and im really sad ure gna be away in thailand sooooo damnnnn longggggggg.. but well at least ull be enjoying urselfff! (: hahhaa.. anw sat was great! the food (esp the sashimi which ser alison and i totally devouredd) ahahahha.. u can ask jerome. when he came down immed aft shumz told him there was sashimi.. there were only 2 left! lol.. sashimi is like my newly acquired food delight! and it all started from the day ms jasmine ling forced me to try some of hers at sakae sushi one fine night (: yayyy! anw i didnt drink at shumz's party cz i wasnt feeling too great initially.. and thus took a panadol.. so i didnt wanna risk anything (n tt my frens is the reason why i was late to go to shumz's hse! not cz i overslept! DAMN BAD!) anw.. the only other pple i knew there were the ac pple... but i dntknw why i was sucha social butterfly that night.. happily mixing ard with pple i dont even know. lol. twas fun! (: we ate and ate and ate and ate ... played asshole daidee (me glass yayi jerome ser ALISON ) which was soooooooo super fun! ahhaa. notice how i highlighted alison's name.. lol she was like the highlight of the night la! nonstop making all of us laugh ... the cockroach incident... crumbs incident... ally and camps incident.. her witch laughter.. all her various and random comments! it was so damn fun! (: im really glad ser was there too! (: st nicks rocks la.. one thing i noticed that night was that when me ser alison and shumz come tgt... we end up being super unglam.. super loud.. super giggly.. super greedy and bimbotik. ahhaha! we have absolutely UNCONTROLLED LAUGHTER... we just kept bursting and bursting with giggly girly fits.. it was sooooooo funny! lol. unglam as we are.. we're proud of it (: all inta name of good fun and entertainment la huh (: im glad shumzi didnt get drunk or anything.. which i totally expected her to.. considering the circumstances. ahhaha her birthday cake cutting was really funny! we all just cldnt stop singing the bdae song and asking her to strip/sing etc. lol. the joel thing was another funny matter all tgt.. it was just really really fun! one of the few 21st bdaes i truly enjoy (: (im really sorry i missed urs yunx.. i regret it till today) the cab fares were bursting.. considering i took a cab there and back.. but hell with that! it was a fun night! its really hard to define what i want since it encompasses so much. but if you've been thru last sem with me.. u wld probably know what i want this time round. and yes im every bit as determined to get what i want. for now.. everythings going just fine (:

oh my. its been such a long time since i last blog. in fact i had totally and entirely forgotten that i had a blog. lol. i get like that every now and then. been really busy lately with tabletennis trainings and meet ups with jean and my sis. despite the high opportunity costs... (oh god economic terms ugh) i gave all i cld.. every min every sec just to meet up with them before they return to melb. altho it caused me alota dilemmas and headaches n hiccups along the way due to numerous clashes. i still stand by my decision and i do not regret any of it all (: i only wished they clda stayed longer. this sem is so different from the past 3. its so much quieter.. more disciplined.. so much more. lets hope my modules arent as boring as they currently seem to be. if not ill die of boredom even before midterm. the only module i find fascinating so far is heavenly mathematics. ahha astronomy rocks! but it takes far more than interest to achieve the grades.. and sad to say i only am a b3 standard in physics.. my visualization skills of planes and degrees and rotations.. suck. ahahah. hopefully it all works out inta end tho. im really glad im taking the modules with ping zes gil jas cait andy + friend (: i nv knew there were tt many pple taking this mod and im glad for it. oh myyyyyyyy! at shumzies hse now.. waiting for my hair to dye itself while she washes off her alr dyed hair. ahahha!! hopefully our streaks turn out goodddddd! if not .. hmm. ahah we can just bury ourselves in a hole and die alr. ahahha :/ last night was funnnnnn!!!!! went to yaski's bdae party at sunrise gardens.. really nice place!! food was good... (shumz n i stole the whole box of fried chicken flakes ting.. hee) and ate alot! i dint get to touch the cake tho :/ poor yaski was just being tortured the whole time.. all thks to mostly the ndu guys. ahhaha.. ey were tryin to force him to ram agst a pole... threw him inta pool.. hammie n kim ey all even made a nice mixture inta helmet outta all the food and sauces ey cld find. really gross. ahhahaa.. inta end most of it went to the floor.. so of course ey all ended up pushing yaski to the floor too to try to get the stuff on him anw. lol. aft that a whole buncha us went thomson prata aka the prata house a few stops down fr my hse to makannnnn! it was super yummish.. and shumz n i were totally embarrassed cz we were the only 2 to really bother to dress up as dead school girls (1 st nicks and 1 AC) damn paiseh la.. so with our fake blood flowing down from our lips and white ghostly faces and UH UH school uni.. we made our way very embarrassedly to the table ata prata hse. hahaha. it was really a whole big group! me shumz der liao hammie ben andy cong tim nolan.. yaski joined us later. making a hell lota noise and ate hell alot too! hahaha poor liao had to help me eat most of the food tt i ordered.. altho he complained alot i bet he was damn happy!!! he realy ate qt alot!! uh uh ah. anw aft tht shumz was super gian to drink and i just dint wna go home.. so me shumz liao tim yayi happily made our rounds in liao's car to find drinks and find a place to drink!!! aft much driving ard aimlessly and in dismay since like pratically everywhere was closed..inta end we went back to tim's place to get drinks and stuff and headed down to yishun peer/park to drink. it was really fun! ahhaha.. played alota stupid games and shumz n i were losing non stop! uh uh ah! kept drinking la.. damn bad w numbers and all the games tim intro-d to us. hahaa.. we shda just drank evtg right fr the start alr. hahah.. aft tt we headed down back to tim's place to hang out and play ps! ahahah DAMN FUN! ALL THE FIGHTING GAMES.. tim was obviously gd in it since he owns the damn game.. ahah shumz was superbly violent killllllllllllllll KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! (shumz says 'speed' really really really funnily btw....!!! ) hahahahhaa.. jer was as red as a lobster all over la.. and he was qt gone at the end of e session... tim was anal and qt sober... lost a toe nail tho.... ouchhh.. ben was crazy la... got super high ... excited and positively happy. ahahha! it was hilarious! he actually even pulled out wei liangs leg hair.... which was really gross....! ahhaha.. loved all the games we played! damn fun laaaaaaa!!!!!!! we drank till morn and inta end left me jer shumz tim in tims room. jer slept thruout n woke up only when shumz started to squirt contact solution at him. ahhahaa.. i slept on off on off ever since yayi refused to let me cont playing! hahaha.. which is the reason why i'd thought i'd take a rest and thus fall aslp.. ahhaha. shumz n tim were watching family guy and south park and wat not. ahahhahaa. aft tt jer went back to his room to die thus leaving the 3 of us. hahaha. we were spse to eat macs breakfast but shumz n i fell aslp. uh uh ! hahaaaaa. aft tt shumzie and i went holland v to eat yummyyyy crystal jadeeeeee! ahhahaa we wanted to eat evtg onta menu laaaaa...... esp shumzz! ahhahaha. super funny. yummmmisssshhhh!! aft tt was grocery shopping at cold storage... we took like an hr to shop cz we cldnt stop oohing and aahhing at every food item onta shelf... ahahha!!!!!! aft tt non stop family guy. we alr watched the whole of season 1. we just finished the 1disc of season 3. rocks la. we're mad... seriously

damn tired... tired of everything.

just came back to my room from talking to ping. 4 whole hours we talked!! =) i really love this girl and our conversations.. no matter how serious or hilarious ey may get. feels really gd to just sit down in our own lil corner and talk like we've got all the time inta world and all the world to ourselves. i felt much better aft the talk even tho both our probs weren't solved. haha. we were tallking abt like hall life.. the pros n cons of it.. abt how all these expectations build up.. and how u feel u got to act up to them..abt cliques..how and why they form and the 'consequences' of em.. abt how sometimes u just want to eat with 1 person and not e whole clique..or how sometimes u just want to steer away sometimes.. how some friends are really situational friends..you're only close to them at one point of time in your life.. but at least they were a part of it and that perhaps they were there at that time for a reason. lol. we were talking abt how its really hard to make really gd frens in hall.. and how hall life is transient n u gta look back to ur jc n sec life to seek out ur true frens etc.. we were also wondering.. that all of us got so many sides to us.. to diff grps of pple n all n whether all our sides are in fact a reflection of our true selves? n if we are being fake? why is it so... and all these kinda things hahaha. well i tink the different sides of us arent fake.. just tt when u hang out with diff grps.. well cz grps come tgt cz of certain similarities.. so when we're with tt particular grp of pple we just tend to show more of tt side of us.. if that even makes sense at all.


i dntknw. i tink ping and i.. we're just living in our own lil world sometimes..its like.. we're traditional girls living in a modern world (this one is really hard to explain.. its more like the values n stuff)..we love to just sit back.... talk....look at the stars..
always dreaming of escaping to an island where there's the sun sand and sea. just imagine yourself on an island with your best buds.. basking in the suns warmth.. cooling yourself down with an ice cold drink.. hearing the rise and falls of the waves.. hear seagulls chirping in the distance.. just lying down.. with not a care in the world but for that very moment.. a moment of peace and tranquility.. a moment you have all to yourself.. where you and your best bud(s) simply lay back and enjoy nature and all its beauty as time crawls by.. where there is no need to talk and an air of comfortable silence just takes over. yes. this is the kind of life we dream about. sometimes i feel we're like two people stuck in the world of disney. where everything is a fantasy.. where everything and everyone is happy. we usually prefer the old to the new.. we love to stone and reminisce abt the good ol times and how things used to be.. we enjoy old movies tgt.. enjoy the simplicity of life.. forever lazing ard inta pool and talking rubbish..staying over at each other's hse's not do anything spectacular but simply enjoy each others company..or perhaps stone in silence tgt..watch brainless things tgt.. with topics ranging from small things.. to larger things... stupid to philosophical... abt past present n future...from lil things tt affect us.. or just any random thought. like i said.. its really hard to explain. but the bottom line is .. we're in our own lil world. i dont know why we alws end up talking like tt somehow..with alota crap and stupid things in btw. like just now in her room.. we were 'playing' softball with a marker and this small plastic ting(u know the small egg like capsule thing tt usually contains a toy inside which u have to slot a coin inta machine to turn out?).. ahha.. the marker being the bat and the plastic ting being the ball. ahhaha. madness. many other stupid and crazy examples i can provide you with.. but lets not put our reputation at stake or in jeopardy here. (:


sometimes its good to just sit down and talk with a friend..not just cz u wna bond with her or him or u feel obliged to cz u havent done so in a really long while.. but bcz u really wna talk to that person and u really wna knw wats happening in his or her life. i feel sometimes you dont have to meet in quantity..sometimes its better to just stick to smaller numbers..i mean tgt is more fun of course.. but sometimes im so sick n tired of all the nonsense..and life is like becoming so monotonous that i just feel like moving back home. well.. i always believe in my motto.half of which i came up with.. the other a gd fren of mine.. chris.. alws tells me.. that ''everything happens for a reason... and everything happens for the best'' eventually it'll all work out.

10am now.. and im still not asleep. ROCKS. anyways.. to my dear DU PI .. happy birthday dearrrrrrr!! sorry i cant be there to celebrate your bdae with you once again! nonetheless.. you've always been my best friend and best cousin. we've known each other for 20 yrs now.. and despite the distance set btw us.. we still manage to remain as close as ever. i really believe that true friendship is hard to find.. and you are someone i believe will stand by me forever.. who's friendship will definitely withstand the test of time (and distance). cant wait for you to get back to spore (: i miss you.
